Introduction

Replay format is the way user editing is being stored. It allows users to easily replicate and apply a series of editing steps. Replay provides a step-by-step guide to recreate a particular editing scene.

Replay format is providing Replay layers to allow complex and detailed manipulation for the editing scene. There are 7 types of layers:

  • Image
  • Video
  • Audio
  • Text
  • Shape
  • Group
  • Visual

Currently the format is also wrapped up with some tool set, to make the development easier.

Replay format will provide a consistent editing experience being abstracted from device and screen specifics.

For easy reading, it will better to start from glossary, because there are some concepts, and contextual vocabulary used in the docs, which may be cause misunderstanding otherwise.
